PCD Cutting Wheels PCD Cutting Wheels

This cutting wheel of polycrystalline diamond (PCD) was developed for applications demanding a long service life and good edge quality. Particularly well for cutting during the float glass production process, the cutting wheel life is extremely long. Such applications give the extremely hard PCD an excellent opportunity to demonstrate  its capabilities. But the positive characteristics with respect to breaking are particularly worthy of note even when cutting very thin glass.

 Film Cutting Blades Film Cutting Blades

With Silberschnitt blades, films for sandblasting stencils or mounted etching stencils can be cut on modern CNC cutting tables. The narrow blades are used for fine contour cuts, the wide blades are suitable only for straight cuts. Films in thicknesses from 0.2 to 2.6 mm can be cut with the Silberschnitt blades. Made in Germany.

Just like with hand glass cutters, the use of the appropriate cutting fluid is indispensable when cutting automatically. For this purpose, Bohle offers a special cutting fluid which is used and recommended by many machine manufacturers and glass producers worldwide.
