First Workshop by Bohle America was a Huge SuccessBohle has now also started up the transfer of know-how to their customers in America with the first of many workshops to be offered. In these workshops Bohle will share their expertise based on over 85 years of experience in glass. At the end of February more than a dozen glaziers came to headquarters of Bohle America, Inc. in Charlotte, NC, to learn new techniques and technologies in glass cutting and glass bonding and thus to expand their business potential. Frank Ruzicka, a master glazier who has been with Bohle since 1984, instructed the two-day workshop. "Big Frank", known to many from the last GlassBuild America, imparted to the group much of his impressive professional knowledge gained from over 30 years of experience working with glass. Aside from imparting theoretical information, the main focus of the workshop was on practical application of what had been learned: And so both days were spent cutting thick glass and bonding CD stands, among other things. The participants were very excited about the usefulness of the workshop for their business: "Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge with me in the first Bohle glass cutting and glass bonding seminar,“ Britt E. Hopper, owner of Hopper´s Glass, Wichita, Kansas, said after the workshop. “It has improved my business in knowledge and performance already. I´ll now be able to sell a better product with a higher standard," Hopper continued. Edgardo Torres from Glass 2000, Inc. was also impressed: “I want to thank you, your staff and especially Frank for everything you did for each and every one of the men that were at the seminar, especially me. I think we all left that place with a different perspective on glass in general." The next seminars on glass cutting and glass bonding will take place in Charlotte between May 11 and 16.
